Full Stack Engineer, Front-End Lead
◆Joined as a junior front-end developer and grew into a full stack engineer who now leads front-end development for a 5-person engineering team and shares equal ownership of backend architecture decisions.
◆Migrated the production front end from AngularJS to Angular 10 — the one effort that did cost a feature freeze — then owned every upgrade since through Angular 22, keeping the app on a supported LTS version the entire time.
◆Leading the migration to standalone components, signals, and OnPush change detection: better rendering performance today and a clean path off Zone.js.
◆Diagnosed and rearchitected backend request handling for a core management view, cutting endpoint response times 50–98% — worst case 5,360ms to 95ms, a 56x improvement.
◆Redesigned the Azure DevOps YAML build pipelines, cutting average CI/CD time 66% (18 min to 6 min), then led the team through adopting Sentry so regressions surface with a stack trace and a release tag instead of a user report.
◆Ended a class of stale-cache failures where browsers requested files a new deploy had already replaced: a service worker that swaps in the new build on the next navigation rather than mid-task, so nobody loses a half-finished form to a release, with a pipeline-level force-update switch for the hotfixes that cannot wait.
◆Replaced polling-based notifications with SignalR websockets over a Redis backplane, dropping server load and making updates genuinely real-time across the app.
◆Migrated authentication from Keycloak to Auth0 — front-end integration, email flows, login configuration — and shipped a customer-facing self-service portal with passwordless email login for external clients to enter and track their own orders.
◆Led a schema redesign of the location-tracking system and the data migration behind it: soft-deleted 22M+ obsolete records (~70% of the table) during the cutover, then hard-deleted them once every row was verified migrated — faster queries and a model the team can reason about.
◆Currently building a rate-negotiation system that lets brokers and carriers settle freight rates directly through integrated third-party loadboards.
